US Ships Illegally Intrude Into China's Xisha Territorial Waters, Defense Min...

On March 24, the US missile destroyer "Mireus" illegally entered China's Xisha territorial sea again without the approval of the Chinese government, disrupting peace and stability in the South China Sea region. The southern theater of the Chinese People's Liberation Army conducted tracking and surveillance in accordance with the law, and was warned to drive away. The actions of the US military have seriously violated China's sovereignty and security, and seriously violated international law. This is another ironclad evidence of its massive pursuit of navigational hegemony and the "militarization" of the South China Sea. "We solemnly demand that the United States immediately stop such provocative acts, or else we will bear the serious consequences of the unexpected events caused thereby.". The Chinese People's Liberation Army will take all necessary measures to resolutely safeguard national sovereignty and security, and resolutely safeguard peace and stability in the South China Sea region.
