Types of spray guns
According to the difference of paint supply method, paint nozzle diameter, air usage, spray pattern, etc., according to the paint supply method, there are three types: suction type, gravity type and pressure feed type
1) Suction-up spray gun
The paint tank of the suction-type spray gun is located at the lower part of the spray gun, and the paint nozzle generally protrudes slightly forward from the center hole of the air cap, as shown in the figure
As shown in the figure, the compressed air is sprayed from the center hole of the air cap, that is, around the paint nozzle, forming a negative pressure at the front end of the paint nozzle,
Aspirate paint from paint can and atomize. The amount of paint sprayed by the suction-type spray gun is obviously affected by the viscosity and density of the paint, and is closely related to the diameter of the paint nozzle. The suction spray gun is suitable for general discontinuous spraying operations.
2) Gravity spray gun
The paint tank of the gravity spray gun is located on the upper part of the spray gun, and the paint is sprayed from the paint nozzle by its own gravity and the negative pressure formed by the front end of the paint nozzle, and is mixed with the air for atomization. The basic construction of the spray gun is the same as the suction spray gun, but the same spray bar
Under the condition, the spray amount of paint is larger than that of the suction type. Gravity spray guns are used for spraying applications with less paint consumption and frequent color changes. when
When the amount of paint is large, another high-level paint tank can be set up and connected to the spray gun with a hose. In this case, by changing the height of the paint can
Adjust the spray amount of paint.
3) Pressure feed gun
The pressure feeding spray gun supplies paint from a separate paint booster tank (or paint pump).
A spray gun supplies paint. The paint nozzle of this gun is on the same plane as the air cap center hole, or inwards from the air cap center hole
Slightly concave, as shown in Figure 3-10, it is not necessary to form negative pressure at the front end of the paint nozzle

These SK-300 spray guns are fantastic! Love the no oring design, less leakage and easy maintenance. The atomization is perfect for automotive painting. Highly recommend!
