1. Hold a gun. The airbrush is held in the palm of the hand, thumb, little finger and ring finger, with the middle and index finger pulling the trigger. Some sprayers change the way they hold the gun as they work longer hours, sometimes just using the thumb, palm and pinky, and sometimes the ring finger, with the middle and index finger holding the trigger. This can relieve fatigue and improve labor efficiency.
2. The orientation of the spray gun to the substrate surface. The spray gun should be kept perpendicular to the substrate surface, or as perpendicular as possible. If the spray gun is a little skewed, the result will inevitably cause the spray strip to flow to one side, and the other side will appear thin, lack of paint, very likely to cause striped coating. 3, the distance from the spray gun to the substrate surface. For the siphon spray gun, the best working distance is 15~20cm. If the distance is too close, it may produce flow, and may even cause the color to differ from the expected when spraying metallic glitter or pearlescent paint. If it's too far away. More than 20cm, it may lead to dry spray, overspray, make the paint leveling poor. If sprayed metal glitter paint, there may also be the possibility of color change. The press-feed spray gun can be further away from the substrate. Generally, the best distance is about 20~30cm. These are the basic principles that must be followed when spraying construction.
4. The moving speed of the airbrush. When spraying, the moving speed of the spray gun has a great influence on the painting effect. If the spray gun moves too fast, the surface appears thin, poor leveling, rough; If the spray gun is moved too slowly, the resulting coating is too thick and is likely to produce a flow hang. The ideal speed of spray gun movement should be once the spray is finished, the new spray layer looks so plump, wet, neither thin, barren, nor excessive piling. In short, the moving speed of the spray gun should be determined according to the specific situation of the construction site. Generally speaking, just for relative comparison, the speed of movement is faster when using the pressure feed spray gun than when using other types of spray gun.
5. Trigger control. The airbrush is controlled by the trigger. The deeper the trigger, the more fluid flows. In the traditional firing process, the trigger is always closed, not half closed. In order to avoid paint buildup at the end of each gun run, experienced sprayers should loosen the trigger slightly to reduce the amount of paint supplied.
