What is HVLP spraying technology?

HVLP spray technology was defined and applied by SCAQMD (Southern California Air Quality Management Association) in the 1980s and is now adopted by most states in the United States. HVLP stands for Large Air Flow Low Air Pressure and refers to high flow of compressed air (10-25 CFM) at low air pressure (10PSI/0.7Bar or less). To meet the HVLP requirements, the air pressure measured at the air cap must be between 0.1 and 10 PSI.

These SK-300 spray guns are fantastic! Love the no oring design, less leakage and easy maintenance. The atomization is perfect for automotive painting. Highly recommend!
