LVLP spray gun (1.3mm basecoat, 1.4mm clear)
Plastic adhesion promoter
Urethane primer for plastics
High-quality flexible clearcoat
Degrease thoroughly using plastic-safe solvent
Scuff with a gray scuff pad or fine sandpaper
Apply adhesion promoter and allow proper flash
Prime using flexible urethane primer
Use a 1.3mm tip with low PSI (12–14 at the cap)
Apply 2–3 light coats; avoid heavy buildup
Maintain even overlap and pay attention to edges and contours
Switch to 1.4mm tip
Use flexible clear; 2 wet coats recommended
Flash 10–15 minutes between coats
