Since the reform and opening up, the domestic per capita income has been increasing year by year, making people's requirements for living environment and quality of life gradually improved, and the interior and exterior wall painting is an important key factor to determine the quality of living environment and quality of life. At present, the most common decorative material for interior and exterior walls is water-based latex paint. Because it is non-toxic and harmless, it has no impact on the environment, and the walls using water-based latex paint are easy to take care of and rich in color, making it one of the most popular decorative materials in home decoration in recent years. But the viscosity of latex paint is quite high, and the manufacturer has a very strict limit on the proportion of water dilution during construction, usually the proportion of dilution is 10%~20%, excessive dilution will damage the structural system of the coating, resulting in poor film formation, its adhesion, scrubbability and weather resistance are affected, and the greater the dilution proportion, the more serious the impact. However, if diluted according to the proportion required by the manufacturer, the construction is difficult. In addition, the current domestic wall painting technology is generally traditional technology such as rolling coating, brush coating or air spraying, so that the efficiency and quality of latex paint construction is difficult to reach the international level. At present, the most popular construction method of latex paint abroad is high-pressure airless spraying technology.

Airless spraying, as the name suggests, is a spraying technology that does not need air. Its principle is to make the paint pressurized to 220 kg/cm2 by the booster pump, and force the high-pressure paint to extricate through the narrow nozzle to achieve atomization, so that the paint is attached to the coated material at a high speed. The high-pressure airless spraying has many obvious benefits when applied in the construction of the wall such as rubber paint:

1. Improve coating quality. Airless spraying can not only atomize high-viscosity coatings, but also smooth and compact latex paint walls constructed by airless spraying, with no brush marks and roll marks.

2. Accelerate the construction speed. The construction efficiency of airless spraying is up to 300 square meters per hour, 12~15 times that of traditional rolling brush process!

3, increase the utilization rate of paint. Because of the uneven film thickness of the traditional rolling brush, the utilization rate of the paint is greatly reduced, but the airless spraying construction can ensure the uniform film and the same thickness.

4, prolong the life of the coating. When the coating is attached to the surface of the coated material at high speed and high pressure, it will form a mechanical bite force, so that the paint particles can penetrate deeper into the wall holes, enhance the adhesion of the paint film and prolong the life of the paint film.

This spraying technology, which was invented in the 1990s, was widely used in shipbuilding, steel structure, heavy corrosion protection and other industrial projects in the early days. With the continuous development of the construction industry, airless spraying technology has also been gradually applied to the spraying of construction-related projects, and has been popularized in Europe, America, Southeast Asia and Taiwan.
